Miss M. C. Dalrymple Hay,
The Colonial Nursing Association,
Imperial Institute, S.W.

Dear Madam,

June 7th, 1901.

39

In answer to your letter of the 6th inst., I write to say that I am sorry we have no available Nurses at present, whom I could recommend to your Association for the posts of Nursing Sisters for Hong Kong Medical Department.

The only two who would have been free for this kind of work left for Hong Kong a few weeks ago. A Private Nursing Institution is being started there for which they were anxious to obtain our Nurses.

I regret not to be of assistance to you in the matter, as I know how difficult it is to secure exactly the right persons, but hoping you may meet with suitable Nurses for the posts,

Yours very truly,
Eva. E. Lückes.
